Bought a lot of San Diego Padres baseball cards on Ebay today.  All the cards that I wanted to get back in the 80's but didnt have enough money well now they are even cheaper than they were back in the 80's!  Does anyone else collect baseabll cards. If so I would liek to hear from you.  Esp. if you like Steve Garvey RBI Champion and Goose Goosage who saved alot of games back then for San Diego.

I have Steve Garvey's rookie card when he was still with the Dodgers and before he came to San Diego.  Also special James Curtis custom cards that feature myself on various topps and donruss formats. It is a real hoot to see your own name like "Curtis, James" "Padres, San Diego" on what appears to be a real baseball card.

Has anyone else ever done that too with custom baseball card or football cards.  You can get it done at San Diego printing shops and you just tell them your name like James Curtis and they will take your picture in a baseball stance and everything and then print up as many as you would like.

I give them out as business cards to people I know at work.  I work for the City of San Diego in the Parks Dept like Jefferey on Seinfeld and that is a good show.  And you could get a custom card of anyone, like if you wanted a Jerry Seinfeld card you could take it to any print shop around San Diego and they will make it for yu for the right amount of money like they did for me.
