Been at La Jolla Shores today watching people agape at the sightings on Monday of a great white shark off the coast of La Jolla Shores, San Diego coastline. There were a lot fewer people in the water on Tuesday.  I'd say one-tenth of the usual number and they were almost all surfers or people just wading in to about mid body.

But it was a beautiful day and we had a bbq in the park looking out over the beach and I remembered the nature trails around University of California San Diego and we walked around there.  It was very desolte of course because school is out for the summer and there are only a few summer classes going on.

Then went to downtown La Jolla and ate at Trulock's and had the stone crabs and I also had a steak tarate which is what I always eat on holidays.
